McDougall Cottage Historic Site Re-opens

McDougall Cottage Historic Site has re-opened with reduced operational hours and limited site access to enable physical distancing and increased cleaning due to COVID 19. Hours of operation will be Saturday and Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. during weekends in October.

”McDougall Cottage reopens with the new exhibit HerStory - A Woman's Life, 1850 to 1900 that explores what life was like for local Victorian women. From interesting clothing and hygiene habits, to the struggle for work and political rights, what you learn about a woman's life might surprise you! We also have popular Ghost Walk events and tasty Goodies to Go packages available, and you can view our recently uncovered century old wall murals. Timed tickets for McDougall Cottage requierd and can be purchased through the McDougall Cottge website. Capacity is limited to enable safety protocols that include physical distancing and increased cleaning.
